Advani Assures Lokpal Bill Approval in Monsoon Session

Advani assured on Monday that the opposition party BJP will see to that the Lokpal Bill will be passed hassle free if UPA government forwards with it in the monsoon session.

He said as That will be done. The UPA government should not only introduce the bill but also take steps to pass it He mentioned these words in an election rally in the Coimbattore, Tamil Nadu.

Mr. Advani appreciated the efforts of Mr. Hazare and thousands activists for bringing the government to its knees. Also, mentioned the time taken by the UPA to accept the JPC on the 2G spectrum scam.

He also said Manmohan singh had two strong points when he assumed office as Prime Minister-being a great economist and a honest person. But, both were demolished by governments non-performance on various counts, he alleged.

He also added He failed as an economist not being able to control the skyrocketing prices and the honesty was lost when the government was put on mat on major scams like 2G spectrum, Common Wealth games and Adarsh Housing Society.
