NRIs back BJP - want party nomination

Gujarat BJP chief Purshottam Rupala has a problem of plenty. There are more contenders for the 26 constituencies. Now, 3 NRIs have also expressed interest in joining the fray!

Chilesh Patel from London, Kirit Patel from New York and Gauran Patel from Chicago - have sent emails to be considered as party nominees for the LS polls. Many NRIs are also backing C K Patel, a prominent Gujarat businessman settled in US who recently joined BJP - to be fielded from Sabarkantha constituency. Patel had lost in the assembly elections.

Meanwhile the "friends of BJP" have decided to send a delegation to Gujarat to help the BJP party out in the coming elections.
