Rift in Congress in West Bengal over seat sharing with Trinamool
Problems are brewing up within Congress in West Bengal. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has gone ahead with a 14:28 seat sharing formula with the Trinamool, which the local West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee (WBPCC) leaders don't like.
They have refused to even select the candidates retorting that since AICC went ahead with the list.. let them also choose the candidates! Specially two big politicians in West Bengal are not happy with this thing: Shankar Singh and Abdul Mannan.
They believe that with this alliance, Congress will be ruined in WB as most people will start moving to Trinamool - which runs on anti-communist platform.
