Left Parties want to sit together in Lok Sabha

Earned by the Inch... but Want by the Foot!

The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), Communist Party of India (CPI), the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) and the Forward Bloc have suffered so badly in the 2009 elections that now they have decided to sit together in Lok Sabha.

From a total of 60 their number has dropped to 24.

The communists want to sit as a single block to be viewed as the Third Largest entity, after the UPA and the largest opposition, NDA.

The CPI-M has 16 seats, CPI has 4, RSP has 2 and Forward Bloc has 2 as well.

Currently, the 3rd largest party is Samajwadi Part with 23 seats. Bahujan Samaj Party is 4th with 21. CPI-M is 8th behind Trinamool and DMK.

Such low numbers in Lok Sabha has not deterred the Communists from trying to force their ideology nevertheless. Despite how the electorate has rejected them, they would still want to force themselves on the country!

One of their leaders said:

'While there is floor co-ordination among the Left parties in the Lok Sabha, they are recognised as separate entities. If the Left parties are recognised as a single entity, they will become the third largest block in the house. This will give more weightage to the issues the Left raises"

That's the only way, the Leftists in India can keep stalling India's progress on the cues from China, their Masters.
