Oppostion leader Oommen Chandy has been an important task for the LDF in 2011 Keral elections. LDF planted Suja Susan against to Chandy in Puthupally constituency. Sussan Georges main aim is not for winning the seat and determined mainly to reduce the lead of the Chandy.
Southern states of India Kerala, Union Territory Puducherry and Tamil Nadu witnessed 80% polling yesterday. The polling for the assembly constituencies were held on Wednesday for both the states. The specialty of these elections is, this time EC allowed NRIs vote for the first time. Puducherry Union Territory experienced huge polling with 85.21%.
Guwahati, On Monday trouble-torn Assam successfully accomplished second and final phase of the assembly elections according to the EC. More than 70% exercised their franchise in this poll.
